The Grotiana Foundation is an academic foundation established under Dutch law. It chief mission is to promote the study of the life, works and legacy of Hugo Grotius (1583-1645). To this end, it develops a variety of activities aimed at the dissemination of research:
- Academic conferences and workshops
- The Grotiana journal
- Digitization projects
- Science communication aimed at both academic and broader audiences
